Cancellation policy
Introduction
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy aims to be fair while also protecting Heron Stay’s ability to re-let the property when possible.
Standard Cancellation Terms
Free Cancellation Period: Most reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in (or the specified window in your booking confirmation) may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the first night’s rate (or a specified percentage of the total booking value).
No-Show: If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the reservation may be treated as a late cancellation, and your booking could be released for resale.
Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain promotional or discounted rates may be non-refundable. If you cancel, modify, or fail to arrive, the full booking cost will be charged.
Early Departures
If you choose to depart before your scheduled check-out date, no refunds will be provided unless otherwise stated in your booking terms.
Exceptions
Where cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., government travel restrictions, force majeure), we may offer flexibility at our discretion. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.
